University Heights Community Center - Amusement Park Island

Campers are in "tribes" within which they will wear tribal buffs and their tribal face paint, and learn group process and social skills as they continue with daily challenges. Arts and crafts meets science is one way to think of this camp, but there is so much more, when campers become tribes! Tribes love the feeling of doing their tasks as a group. Many fun decorations to give the feel of a real experience University Amusement Park Island Camp - Kids get to dream up and create their own working amusement park at this awesome Challenge Island camp. Roller coasters, zip lines, and real flying rockets are just a few of the rad rides they’ll design using basic household and recycled materials. Your camper’s creativity is the limit on CI’s Amusement Park Island.* *This Challenge Island program is for children in pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
