Camp Wightman
At Camp Wightman, a Christian summer camp in Southeast Connecticut (and right across the border from southwestern Rhode Island), kids learn to feel with their hearts, do with their hands, and live together in Christian community. Our campers are taught to appreciate life's simplicity, the value of Christian friendships, wonders of nature, the importance of self reliance, respect for our natural environment, and the thrill of adventure. A special effort is made to send every camper home stronger in body, keener in mind, more appreciative of nature, and more aware of their relationship with God. We look forward to meeting your child or teen at Camp Wightman this summer! Take a look at our programs - we have plenty!
Our Staff

Todd Garmer / Executive Director 

comes to us with over 25 years of outdoor ministries and camp management experience. He has directed camps for the Lutheran Church, Elks Association, and Eden Autism. He has extensive experience within the special needs field and working with children who are medically and behaviorally challenged. “I am so excited to be starting this new role at Camp Wightman! I can tell already that Camp is a special place, and I am looking forward to leading Camp Wightman forward in furthering its important mission."
