Livermore Karate

Here we teach traditional Okinawan karate-do and kobudo(weapons). We train in the Shorin Ryu Shorinkan style of Okinawan karate under the leadership of Hanshi (10th degree blackbelt) Shuguro Nakazato of Naha Okinawa. At Okinwan Karate-Do & Kobudo Academy you will find a family oriented modern facility with classes for children and adults of all ages. Classes are broken up into age and rank so that all students receive the best instruction available. Children's classes focus on developing self esteem, self control, and a positive attitude that they can carry with them throughout life. Adult classes focus on the same principles as well as physical conditioning and self defense skills, along with many other concepts. Our goals are to give each student the opportunity to accomplish anything they want. We give them the key and they open the door. Our instructors are here to guide them on their way. Karate is a journey that never ends.
