Studio 6 Academy of Dance

From recreational to elite and everything in between….. STUDIO 6 is the place to be! We are committed to providing high-quality dance classes to enhance the overall development of the child. We believe that dance training encourages young people to develop a positive self-image as they increase awareness of their physical being. Along with improving coordination skills and developing muscular awareness, dance classes give children the freedom to express themselves through movement. We take pride in our ability to accommodate the student who wants to dance for pure enjoyment while offering more than ample encouragement and instruction for those that intend to pursue a professional career in dance. At STUDIO 6, ALL levels and ages are taught dance terminology, dance TECHNIQUE, and dance combinations from August through January. We do NOT start teaching our students routines in September to make us look good for the annual dance recital. Children become bored with the repetition of this method and all they have learned it one dance routine. Starting in late January or early February, they are taught a professionally choreographed piece to perform in our annual dance recital that is held in June.
