For nearly 30 years, the University of Delaware's Summer College program has engaged talented high school sophomores and juniors in high schools across the country. Now called Edge, this exclusive opportunity offers students the chance to live and learn on one of the most engaging college campuses on the east coast while gaining an advantage in planning their academic career. From July 6th to August 10th, students will: - Live together in Independence Hall East, a state-of-the-art residence hall located on Laird Campus - Take two college-level courses, taught by UD faculty, for up to 7 transferrable credits - Participate in workshops to learn about university resources, writing and research techniques, and the college application process - Complete a blog-based capstone project on service and leadership - Visit various cultural and historical locations in Delaware and the surrounding region.
