My son loved it! The program is fun and he said the "vibe is chill" and the staff are super nice.

It seemed to me a warm and welcoming environment and my child had fun socializing (she can have fun and make friends anywhere and always does), but she’s been to camps that offered more for the price. Parking is difficult and the location is not the best, due to traffic on 80. We were also told we would be called in a week to come and pick up the plate she created that needed be fired. No call, wasn’t surprised, but disappointed. All things considered we decided all of the things listed were enough to make the decision for us not to return for subsequent camps. They could definitely do better.

Brushstrokes Art Camp has been an incredible experience for my 9 and 11-year-old kids! They’ve loved every moment, especially the themed weeks where they explored topics like Nature, Animals, or Art Techniques. Each week they had the chance to dive into new art projects, experimenting with a wide range of materials to truly express their creativity.

As my son is getting older, I’ve really appreciated how the camp adapts to different age groups. The sessions for older children are the perfect mix of focus and freedom, allowing him to hone his skills while still being encouraged to think outside the box.

The staff at Brushstrokes is amazing—so fun, supportive, and inspiring. They create a nurturing environment that makes it easy for my kids to grow as artists and leave feeling inspired and fulfilled. The space is a perfect setting for creativity; it's a place where I sometimes wish I could spend the day, too!

It’s been a wonderful experience for both my kids, and we can’t wait for next summer!

When my amazing, neurodiverse child is at Brushstrokes summer camp, I do not worry. I know that my kid is in a place that sees them, and appreciates them, for who they are. I know that listening, compromise, and patience can be expected from the staff. My child has an absolute blast whenever they attend.

My daughter absolutely loved the classes. The staff are amazing and the projects are fun and creative. The only sad part is there aren’t more or just yearly classes.

Our child had a great time at this camp. She was excited to make something different each day and learn about climate change and the environment as well. She wants to come back next summer.

Our daughter [9] loved this camp! She loves all the Brush Strokes camps actually. The counsellors were fun and engaged as well as mature and kind. Each project that they make comes home with a story and she is so proud of all her works. Now we just need more shelves to display it all. Can't wait for next summer!

My daughter had a wonderful time at camp and came home buzzing and happy each day. She did cool projects and had a great experience with the kids and staff. The staff was very kind and they made my shy child extremely comfortable. Thank you, Brushstrokes team!

We were hoping for either ceramics or clay as advertised, but our kids experienced neither activity on their day of camp at Brushstrokes. They had a fine time, but disappointed.

My 5-year-old loves her time at Brushstrokes and pretty much considers this studio a second home. Sam is a patient, fun teacher, and my kid really values the creative freedom they have to explore what can be created with clay. She brings home beautifully made fairy houses, animal planters, spider dens, pinch pots, and more!

My 7 yo twins enjoyed the camp and looked forward to it every day. Last year they attended an art camp offered elsewhere and they did not want to return. So our search took us here. The activities and art projects here were much more engaging and my kiddos were proud of the final products. Also, the camp counselors were attentive and seemed genuinely happy to be working with the kids. We will be returning next summer.

Sam is so great with the kids and a wonderful teacher. My 8-year old daughter loves this class and keeps going back for more!

Brushstrokes has an excellent camp. Each time my daughter goes, either as a camper or Junior CIT, she comes home happy and with great pieces. Absolutely great!

My first grader had a great time. She loves art to begin with and this boosted her excitement even more. She is usually extremely shy; I was worried at drop off. But the kind teacher, warm environment, and a couple of friends there helped her immediately feel comfortable. The activities were many, and included painting on watercolor paper and make pottery out of clay. I will definitely be sending her to more day camps- she is already asking about it!

My nephew came back from Brushstrokes very happy and said he had the best time doing arts and crafts and "two experiments". We are looking forward to our next day camp!

My son was very hesitant to try this camp, but Brianna and the staff made him so welcome. He not only had a blast, but came home with a beautiful wood print!

My 7 year old had a blast! He created beautiful art daily! And a bonus that Brianna understands children and where they are at developmentally and meets them where they are at while using positive reinforcement and kindness. I will continue to enroll my kids in this wonderful program. Thank you!

Our son loves Briana and drawing class! Even on Zoom in these days of too much zoom, Briana has taken kid who hesitated to draw because "it never looks like it should" and turned him into someone who feels confident trying. She breaks down drawing into smaller pieces that makes it approachable and realistic looking. We thought he'd missed the boat and written drawing off. No longer! Thank you!!

A really fun and creative team. Our daughter learned a lot while having a blast!

Our son was inspired by the facilitator's skill at drawing and it deepened his own interest in comics. He appeared to be completely absorbed for the two hours he participated in this class every week.

Teacher was excellent. Made sure each of the students had equal attention.

There was not a lot of guidance in the class. Most of the time my child did not know what to do. The class was not a how-to type of class but a general art time class where the kids can do whatever they want. My child did not learn much.

My 8 year old daughter completed one of the online camps ("My Life As an Artist"), and I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized it was. The studio provided bags for each camper - complete with all the materials that would be needed for the camp. The structure of the day was perfect, and the teacher was fun and engaging. I wasn't sure how it would pan out with it being online, but I'm so glad I enrolled my daughter. She had fun, and she created so many things we otherwise wouldn't have been able to. Very satisfied with Brushstrokes.

Their online clay class was amazing! Definitely the best online class my 10 year-old daughter has participated in! The teacher was great and she kept the kids engaged the entire time, they made amazing works of art, and no parental assistance or oversight was required during class! Thank you Brushstrokes!

This was a wonderful camp, even in its online iteration. The bags of supplies were complete with everything the kids would need, and the Zoom classes worked wonderfully. Each child still got plenty of personal attention and the instructions were clear. I loved the focus on both creativity and skills and I was amazed each day to see what my daughter had created. It was a little messier having these projects done at home instead of in the studio, but it was completely worth the clean-up.

My seven-year-old daughter just completed two weeks of virtual camps at Brushstrokes - Arty Einstein and Life of an Artist. The teacher, Brianna, is fantastic. She manages to keep everyone on task and has created the most amazing set of activities. My daughter learned a lot of technical skills while exercising creative thinking. She now sketches all of the time. So fun!

I absolutely love me Brushstrokes as their classes and teachers kept my 6 year old active kiddo engaged. I especially appreciated that they were able to quickly pivot to the online platform, offering online classes. The teacher Brianna is fantastic and has a way of making sure that each kid is heard. My son is looking forward to taking another class.

We are delighted with our choice to stick with Brushstrokes during our shelter in Place. Our daughter, who has been struggling with activities at home is completely engrossed and self sufficient in these classes. The teacher is engaging her well, my daughter is able to follow along and learn the techniques, and she is very proud of the work she is making! Thank you for keeping this camp open for our kids!!!

My 6-year old son LOVED Brushstrokes camp! Not only was it open when all other camps were closed he was happily occupied with creative and open ended art projects and play all day with friends and supportive staff. He was so happy and engaged and told me it was his favorite camp! (He went to several that he enjoyed this past summer.) Thank you, Brushstrokes, for a wonderful experience to close out the summer.

My daughter loved it! The only downside is that it was so expensive and there was no discounts for the art pieces she chose to paint which ended up adding a lot to our total costs.

My Kiddo loved it! She came home with art to be proud of and keep/display for many years. So Many camps have art that is toss worthy, but not here!
The joy she had finding a new friend, reading books, making art from clay/paint/mosaics and learning basic color theory was very much worth it! We will be coming back for other camp breaks in the future!

My son (6) attended a day camp at the studio and he loved it even though he is more into outdoor play then into art. He wants to go again! and is proud of the bowl he painted.

My daughter declared this the "best camp ever" and has requested to go everyday, forever. A success, to be sure!

Second summer here for the Mini Matisse. Absolutely beautiful take home art such as plates and cup that our daughter proudly use on a daily basis. High quality materials. Lovely art studio. Our daughter got to experience many different art techniques and materials. Thanks for this awesome summer camp!

My daughter's camp was from 1:30-5:30 M-F. She said that the instructor rarely got to Brushstrokes on time. The instructor still needed time to set up. So, kids had to sit around doing nothing for 30-90 minutes waiting for set up!! The instructor also took a long time to give daily lessons & kids then had to sit & listen to that. They were not allowed to work on anything while instructor was giving lessons. So, basically kids got only ONE hour to create any art. Camp ended before 5 everyday & not 5:30. Not a great camp, sorry:(

Both my boys had an amazing time at the camp! The counselors were patient, kind, and a lot of fun! My older son stated, "BRUSHSTROKES IS THE BEST CAMP EVER!!" and our younger son was quite dismayed when we told him he wasn't coming back for a few weeks!! Thanks to all the staff for creating a safe, fun place for our children to be creative!

When I asked my daughter what Her favorite part of camp was today, she said "everything!" My favorite part was that the counselors were great with the kids and really showed interest in their artistic interests.

Brushstokes was a good experience for our daughter. The only issue is that there is no park nearby so they didn't get any exercise which led to some excess energy at the end of the day. Once we figured that out, we just upped some exercise afterward. The projects were great. Teachers were lovely.

My 6-year-old daughter LOVED her first Brushstrokes day-camp and has requested to go several more days during winter break. The space is beautiful and inspiring, the teachers seem lovely: A+

Excellent camp with lots of great painting and mosaic making activities. My daughters (6 and 8) both loved it. The 9-3 camp is a great deal; after care is a little pricey.

My active and imaginative six-year-old son enjoyed Brushstrokes, and he is not so easy to win over! I highly recommend Brushstrokes!

The girls loved it, and they absolutely enjoyed working with clay. They can't wait to be back.

My daughter LOVED the camp and the staff! Good job!!! The ONLY issue we have is how EXPENSIVE daycare is! We ended up paying over $540 for one week of camp...not counting the extra projects she made in aftercare. Camp hours could be a little longer and aftercare lower?

Arty Einstein was my daughter's first camp at Brushstrokes. She had a great time the entire week. We were all super impressed with the artwork she brought home at the end of camp: plate, mug, mirror hanging, fusing item, etc. All were well made and beautiful. Would highly recommend Brushstrokes!

Love this art studio. It's beautiful, friendly, peaceful and so creative. My daughter brought home a Mosaic mirror, plate, cup and bowl all that painted. I'm so grateful she had such a wonderful experience!

This camp was requested by my son after the great experience he had last year. This is was no different. He had a great time and looked forward to going back each morning.
The teachers are very sweet and the space is beautiful. We will be back next year.

A creative and fun way to spend a few days of school break. My daughter loved it.

So easy! My kids loved the activity. fun, nice and great. Don't forget to pick up your painted items.

This is great for a short term (1 week) camp. But if you want aftercare, it's not the best camp for more than 1 week because there is no physical activity. The children are in 1 building all day long.

Our 6-yr old daughter attended two weeks of this camp and not only loved it, but produced an amazing number of extraordinary pieces to take home. She is by nature a little shy at first, but by the second day was laughing and working with other kids so openly and happily. I would recommend this camp to any child.

What a great place! Our 5 year old daughter has done several camps there and she absolutely love it and it's very happy. And she comes home with great pottery that we use everyday!

This was a fabulous camp! My daughter loved it! She came home with beautiful pieces. She was excited to wake up every morning during this week. The staff were friendly and lively. They were exposed to many interesting aspects of ceramics. A great camp and a well-run program.
