City of New Ulm Parks and Recreation

Welcome to the wonderful world of New Ulm Park & Recreation. Our Park & Recreation system is one of the best maintaining and operating three large facilities: Civic Center (two indoor ice rinks/dry floor arenas and more); Community Center (senior programs, arts, pottery, theater and more); and Recreation Center (Vogel Fieldhouse, indoor swim pool, fitness centers, racquetball, aerobics, yoga and more). Over 40 park units ranging from large nature areas on rivers, to small neighborhood parks to historical sites downtown and Hermann on the hill, to athletic complexes hosting leagues and tournaments to miles of trails for family and fitness. We offer a multitude of athletic and arts programs, along with special events for young and old throughout the year.
