Baltimore Dance Tech

Baltimore DanceTech (BDT) was established in 1999 by Yvonne E. Walker and Stephanie Powell. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, our professionally trained teachers provide an exceptional dance education with an emphasis on technique, discipline, and performance. Our youngest students learn the basics of movement in PreDance, while our older students receive instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop. Our students attend master classes sponsored by area colleges in addition to in-house master classes taught by guest instructors and choreographers. Students from Baltimore DanceTech have been accepted to performing arts after school programs, middle and high schools, as well as summer programs all over the country. Our mission is to provide a professional dance education for all students, whether or not they aspire to a professional career.
