Twin Dragon Kung Fu Academy, Inc.

Twin Dragon Kung Fu Academy has been teaching martial arts and self-defense to children and adults since 2001. We offer age appropriate martial arts classes to children . Our programs stress the importance of discipline, respect and hard work. As teachers, we strive to develop a family like community in our school through our caring and involved instructors and the values we teach our students. 

Our style of martial arts is a combination of several different arts blended into one, which is rooted in Hung Gar Kung Fu and Serrada Cabales Escrima-a Filipino martial arts. We begin with basic kenpo karate creating a solid foundation on which to develop the skills needed for the next level of training.

Sijo John Oliva

Sijo John Oliva is the Head Instructor and Owner of Twin Dragon Kung Fu Academy, Inc. He has been a student of the martial arts for the past 40 years instructing students for over 32 years. He holds the rank of 6th Dan in Kochi Kali Kar which encompasses the disciplines of Wing Chung, Hung-Gar Kung Fu (5 Animal System) and Kali-Serrada Escrima Cabales. 

Sijo has also studied an attained black belt ranking in Shodakan Karate (3rd Dan), Shotokan Ryu (3rd Dan), Aikido-Combat Aikido (5th Dan), Kempo Karate (3rd Dan) and Tae Kwon Do (2nd Dan).

This would be the second time that our kids (now 8 and 6) have participated in this camp. They really enjoy it. There is an engaging mix of activities. They really take to the opportunity to learn certain movements related to the type of martial arts offered by this studio.

Hello! In our FAQ section: #3. Who can come to Twin Dragon Camp? "You do not need to be a member of Twin Dragon to attend, but children must be 5 years old and Potty Trained to attend. However, if your child is a current/active Twin Dragon Tiger Tot Student (4-5yrs) and is potty trained they may attend Camp. -
