Come join us for our special Minecraft President's day class! This class will offer unique Presidents Day themed Minecraft activities.
Presidents Day campers learn the ins and outs of Minecraft design and coding in an exciting, social environment to make this week even more special! Camper learn code and command blocks as well as design amazing mini-games using redstone! This class offers a unique twist to our already popular Minecraft classes and camps with themed challenges, led by your favorite Minecraft expert instructor!! 

This is a Live Online camp. Get the full camp experience but from the comfort of your own computer at home, with talk, chat, and whiteboard integration. Our livestream campers and students join our incredible custom CodeREV server from home at a click of a button and are led by their Minecraft Expert through Engineering, coding, and game design adventures together in a series of specially designed custom worlds! Campers enjoy the social interaction with kids that they need while learning in a project-based, safe, and creative environment. 

** Please make sure you have downloaded Minecraft Java Edition (minecraft.net) prior to your first class. If you cannot, we can help you do so on the first day of class. Please also make sure to have a real mouse for camp (any mouse, even PC, can be plugged into a Mac computer).

This class was fun for my 8 year old son because he had a chance to combine circuits and breadboarding with building a cool robot project that he could apply his coding skills and learnings to. I was impressed to learn that the company makes their own robotics kits and that what we took home (you have to purchase the kit for extra, but it's good value) was unique and not something you could get somewhere else. It also came with extra lessons, but he's taking the camp a second time to get deeper into the more advanced components.

We sent our 6yo daughter here because she loves Minecraft and we wanted to let her play with other kids who enjoy it too. After the first day, she complained that it was boring and that there was no server/realm for the kids to play together in. Everyone just played by themselves in single player worlds, instructed to build relatively simple things. There were no Star Wars themed builds or mazes. I'm sorry that I hyped this camp up to my daughter only to have her be disappointed by the false advertising. I suppose it's still a decent option to send your kids away to for the week if you don't care about the tech component.
