Overview

In our Special Thanksgiving Roblox Code Camp course, kids use Roblox Studio's built-in editor to create amazing 3D games and worlds and then use the popular LUA coding language to code their games to do what they want, and then publish their games to the Roblox communiity. Younger campers use built in AI to code their games without the need for much text-based code. Both older and more advanced campers will create their own thrilling games, from Obby games to Simulators, led by true Roblox expert teachers will real pro game developing experience! Don't worry, we've logged thousands of hours teaching Roblox game making and coding in a camp format, so we're about the most experienced provider in delivering this seamless experience that you'll find!

Online Livestream is now available for this incredible course at select times. Same expert LIVE teacher, class, and social interaction with other kids, but online from your computer at home with talk, chat, whiteboard, video, and other interactive classroom elements.

CodeREV Roblox campers also learn how to publish and share their game to the Roblox community world-wide!

When I first registered him he has a teacher that was more patient in trying to show my son how to type certain codes. However this second round the teachers were impatient and really didn’t even pay attention if my son was part of the realm they or ensure he could follow along. I had explicitly asked if this camp was adequate for a 6 year old who didn’t fully read, didn’t know how to type and was barely learning how to navigate a PC let alone the game - this was too advanced and no one really cared if he learned. This class is appropriate for older kids who have prior knowledge with coding in Java. He didn’t even want to finish the week.

This class was fun for my 8 year old son because he had a chance to combine circuits and breadboarding with building a cool robot project that he could apply his coding skills and learnings to. I was impressed to learn that the company makes their own robotics kits and that what we took home (you have to purchase the kit for extra, but it's good value) was unique and not something you could get somewhere else. It also came with extra lessons, but he's taking the camp a second time to get deeper into the more advanced components.

Will Chromebooks work for the one day class? (Roblox Code, Live Online Thanksgiving Break Camp) -

Hi there. Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, Chromebooks will not work very well for this class, since we all join a secure server together that is only accessible via a real computer. Occasionally, students and campers can follow along on their own Minecraft version from a Chromebook, but we don't tend to recommend this option whenever possible. -
