JoLynn Clark - Principal

When JoLynn Clark graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1994, she assumed her interest in neurological disorders would lead to a life far from home.

It is fortunate for Frankenmuth that Mrs. Clark’s love for better learning through research led her right back to the high school, where she has now served as principal for a dozen years.

When Mrs. Clark returned to Frankenmuth High School as an Advanced Placement Psychology, AP English, and Senior English teacher in 2002, she said there were fewer cliques than she remembered as a student. She said she loved the collective feel that everyone in the building was learning and striving together.

A couple of days a week after school, Mrs. Clark can be found leading Frankenmuth Community Education Zumba fitness classes, in which participants exercise to Latin and world music with dance moves. A perk of working in Frankenmuth Community Schools, she said, is occasionally being able to see her young niece and nephew at the elementary building.
