Overview
Mountain View Marauders is the local association of Pop Warner Little Scholars Football and Cheerleading organization. The Marauders have served the youth of Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto and the surrounding communities since 1966.
Boys and girls ages 7-15 are invited to participate. Age as of August 1, 2015.
The mission of Pop Warner Little Scholars is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills, and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives. Pop Warner seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success.
The season begins on August 1. Regular season ends in late October/early November. Teams advancing beyond the regular season may continue into Football playoffs in November, Regional Championships for Football and Cheer in late November, and National Championships for Football and Cheer at Walt Disney World, Florida in early December.
