Where Fun Meets Tech! The most innovative and fun tech curriculum in the Bay area!

We think that kids learn best when they are intellectually challenged while having fun.  At Sparkiverse, we strive to ignite the SPARK --  the inherent excitement and curiosity --  in all kids. By mixing learning with game play and fun, kids leave our classes with new knowledge and understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) that's been acquired in a very engaging and low pressure way.  Sparkiverse makes learning tech engaging and imaginative!   We call it Where Fun Meets Tech!

CUTTING EDGE: Experience tech that you won't find at any other summer camp. We spend our time combing through Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and all kinds of cool places to find the most innovative and creative tech to weave into our classes. We don’t have any commitment to a single app or vendor - we find the tech that kids respond to the best.  Whether it’s conductive ink, 3D pens, or codable robots, we’ve got what’s next now.

HEALTHY TECH: We’re changing the way kids learn tech.  Our classes emphasize the social side of tech with group projects and collaborative activities. Campers get silly at camp rallies so that it feels like a summer camp, not another day at school.
And throughout the day, Sparkiverse campers move between tech, art, and sports blocks.

HANDS ON: We’re not a camp where students sit at long rows of tables in front of computers all day. Campers learn through play and exploration in hands-on activities, experiments, and games.  Our campers are engaged with their tech topics, working collaboratively, whether with codable robots or with PCR machines to replicate DNA.

FOR BOYS AND GIRLS: We’ve heard from our parents that girls particularly want more hands-on activities as part of their tech learning. And we’ve seen that boys are just as happy that they aren’t sitting behind the computer for hours. So we design courses that weave art and creativity seamlessly into the learning of tech - helping students think about the artistic merit of what they are building. Whether it’s drawing with circuits or creating an original game, we’ve created an environment that is appealing to ALL kinds of kids.

ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE: We’ve made it easy with one flat price.  Don't get lost in adding up "a la carte" prices for extended care and meals that add up quickly.  Our tuition includes snacks, lunch, and before/after care to help make your life a little easier.

I highly recommend Sparkiverse's summer camps, after-school classes, and Friday evening "parent's night out" camps. We've sampled them all, and they are consistently terrific! Our 9-year old has been attending their various classes and events for two years, and our 7-year old daughter will start in the fall. Instructors are skilled, engaged, and very thoughtful towards the kids. The overall organization is extremely well run!

Our son has attended Sparkiverse classes at his elementary school for two years (six sessions total), plus summer camp in 2016. We also do Friday "parent's night out" camps sometimes. Our son ALWAYS wants to go to Sparkiverse! We can't wait until our daughter is old enough to start attending some of the after-school classes. The staff is engaged, energetic, and so thoughtful. We feel that they know our son so well and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge him through the course material. The "retro game" class with the Pocketchip computer was one of his very favorites.

My son has been going to the summer camps at Sparkiverse for the last few years, and it's definitely one of the highlights of his summer. Not only is the content interesting and he gets outside play time, he has also made friends at the camp. My daughter will be old enough to join him this summer and she's very excited to be able to do so. From a mom's perspective, I liked how everything is inclusive and I don't have to sign up for extras like lunches or early or late childcare. Overall, it's a well run camp and the kids have a blast.
