Code For Fun

My child turned from a novice in coding to a proficient in the course . The course structure is staggered perfectly to enable children to strengthen their coding skills. The classes are very creative and interactive and my child enjoys the classes thoroughly.

It is the best. The instructor is patient and full of energy. My kid enjoys it!

Very nice after school program for my 8-years old kid.

My kiddo has attended a BUNCH of code camps, and Code for Fun is by far the best for both his enjoyment levels and the amount he learned. There are some other "code" camps he enjoyed because the instructors basically let the kids do what they wanted - so he watched youtube videos all day. And there are some that try to keep the kids on task but don't have very engaging teachers, so my kid ends up not wanting to attend. At Code for Fun, the teachers are creative and flexible, finding a way to meet kids where they are at and to give great suggestions for coding projects that incorporate their interests and abilities. My kid has attended multiple camps and now takes semi-private weekly classes with Code for Fun. I'm so impressed with the teachers' skill and highly recommend Code for Fun!

My son has been taking computer programming courses at Code For Fun for the past 4-5 years now. The program is very well rounded and really focuses on brining a more holistic and critical thinking to coding. Coding and a programming languages are just a means to get to an end. What is more important is the mindset of approaching and solving problems by leveraging appropriate tools. Code for fun has given my son great exposure to different tools and languages over the years and he definitely has a far greater appreciation towards learning and wanting to know how to code, regardless of whichever field he pursues in his career.

My 9 year old really enjoyed taking classes with Code for fun. The instructors keep the class fun and engaging and he was able to grasp new concepts very quickly. He is eager to take more classes with them so it's great to see Code for fun adding new classes and keeping content relevant to what gets kids excited (ex. Minecraft, Roblox)

Code For Fun is candid and sincere in their mission to educate children. The variety of programs they offer are pretty well designed.

My 7 yo daughter was in the Code for Fun camp during springbreak. She enjoyed it so much and she learnt how to code and interact with different types of learning robots. The camp was very well organized . I definitely recommend.

My son had a great time at their Winter camp of 3 days. The instructor was really nice and kept it very interesting for him. So much that he would wake up by himself the next day and get ready looking forward to what new things he would be learning at camp. Overall really nice, thorough and great fun. They send a detailed report of what all activities the child did at the camp which was very nice to know for us parents.

I found the camp last minute, signed up the day before it started and was pleasantly surprised. My kids enjoyed the camp. They proudly showcased their creations. It wasn't something they've done before so the new learnings kept them engaged. The only issue we had was that the camp didn't seem to enforce age requirement of 9+. My kids mentioned there were younger learners that were challenged to follow the same instructions and that slowed everyone down. Instructions tailed to different age groups would make the camp rock more.

My six year old loved this online camp! He looked forward to it starting every day and never complained it was too long, or he was bored. The instructor kept the kids engaged and he learned a lot in the course of a week. The only downside is it seems to cover all Scratch Jr has to offer, but the ages are restricted (at least on activity hero) for signing up for regular Scratch. It would be great if they offered a Scratch class for younger kids who have already taken Scratch Jr., and are ready to move up, but not be online with up to 12 year olds. Hopefully Code For Fun will consider this option in the future.

Highly recommend these classes. My 7 year old loves his scratch classes. Great instructors who keep each child very engaged and motivated.

Highly recommend!! Like everyone mentioned, coach was very encouraging and knowledgable. It's not easy to hold kid's attention online but she did a great job in holding everyone's attention by asking questions, giving instructions and kept everyone engaged. Will enroll my 8 yr for full camp.

Our 9-year-old son loved this class. It was the perfect intro into Scratch. He will be continuing to learn coding.

It was very difficult to get in to the meeting and when we first signed up, we weren't notified that the meeting was cancelled. When we were finally able to get in, my son was very confused and had trouble following along.

My daughter absolutely enjoyed June 08 free introduction class. Looking forward to enrolling her. I've also recommended her friends this program!!

My 7-year-old son really enjoyed his first camp here. The activities in the camp were pretty balanced with the basic science, coding, and physical activities. The instructors were kind and thoughtful, and he loved his friends met here as well! In front of the Academy of Thought and Industry, there is a beautiful park and playground so that children could have a wonderful recess time there. Will be back next year as well!

My daughter and my son both joined programs hosted by Code for fun and really enjoyed it. Instructors know how to make the learning experience fun, hands-on and productive. They walk out of the program feeling more enthusiastic about creating using Technology and felt empowered.

Thanks to Code for fun my kid discovered coding with Scratch and now he's asking for more coding! Instructors are professional, experienced, know how to engage kids with coding and share their passion so every day is a fun day! I highly recommend Code for fun for kids in elementary and I can't wait to see what my kid will do next year in middle school with Code for fun!
