Not what I expected from a 1 week camp. The point of short camps is for kids to get excited about a subject so they want to pursue further studies. For a short camp like this, students should be taught breath, not depth. However, they spent so much time on exercises that my son wasn’t too inspired.

Our philosophy with weekly camps is to build a strong base and good understanding on the subject, we don't believe in teaching a crash course for python in a week. We follow progressive curriculum, as campers continue with us. We have campers who are coming to us from multiple years and learning python with us and keeping building on subjects. We believe these subjects need to be taught and practiced with exercises to absorb the concept and build problem solving skills, to help them apply and use them in real problems. We want to make sure campers don't lose interest and keep inspired with the topic. To make sure we achieve that, we would like to offer you 2 -3 one - one Zoom session of 45 minute to make sure camper needs are fulfilled, please reach out to us.
My son absolutely loves the camp. The teachers there took good care of him and also taught him good technique to do the painting. He brought home a nice painting hanging on the walls of his room now.
For Lego robotics enthusiast this is a great camp. We really like the choice of location because kids get to go out during breaks! The camp itself is very impactful for students who have already done We Do Lego robotics and know some coding. Teachers are computer science undergrads which is a big plus !! And the owner herself is very flexible and always ready to answer questions and explain!!!

It was a really fun experience! My instructor Nithya was very kind and helpful and really helped me enjoy a class that I otherwise would have found boring.-
Camp is fun, teachers are kind to kids. Kids really love the camp.

This was an interesting camp covering basics of art. It would be useful to provide more detailed feedback and reiteration to improve upon.
My son and his friend really enjoyed the half day camp activity, said it was fun and that the instructor was nice and helpful. Yet the reason they do not get 5 stars is that some of the equipment wasn't in working state or ready, and it seems the instructors aren't able to manage these situations very well. One such example is a battery that was damaged and didn't charge during the night, causing my son and his team mate to spend an hour out of the 3 hours of camp waiting for it to charge, without giving them any other options/ activities to spend that time, or asking another team to share battery time.
My 16 year old enjoyed Python camp so much that he asked me to sign him up for subsequent weeks! He said he learned a lot. He's never said that about any camp before.
My son is 7, he enjoyed the junior Lego robotics camp that he was signed up for. The camp organisers are thoughtful and are receptive to feedback.

No teaching (reported by my child - I wasn't there obvs), basically just gave them tablets and LEGOS and told them to find what they want and make it, this was listed as a STEM robotics class (?????)

This is a more organized location compare to last year! My kids seem to be learning and happy! I am sending them for a 2-week camp
The review is for Cupertino site. This camp is a cheaper LEGO camp compared to the ones we had before but it is far below our expectation. The site does not have a proper classroom. There is only one room with multiple LEGO sessions and it is dark, dirty and super crowded and has more children than it should. There is only parking lot outside so no play area during recess.

Thanks Eric for reviewing about us, In our Junior Lego Robotics and Invention in the spring break, Kids had worked on wonderful and amazing learning projects, you can check about them at https://www.facebook.com/Stem4kids.co/ I am sure, you will be amaze with the work kids had done in a week. And about the classroom, we work on station system, each camp will group together in stations. About the playground, sorry we don't have that, and we have not mention any where that we have playground there.
Instructors were really friendly, and helped my child feel comfortable and calmed her down when she was nervous at the beginning. My daughter liked it so much, she asked me to upgrade her registration from half day to full day.
I would suggest they could share some more details of kids' activities during the day with parents. This would help parents understand what kids learned and talk to their kids about their specific achievements and interests. An online portal for parents with some quick notes by the instructor will make huge difference and improvement.

I highly recommend their program!! I had initially enrolled my old son at stem4kids summer camp last summer in math and English program. I was very happy with the kind of overall enrichment they provide to the kids. By end of summer I ended up enrolling in their after school program and I could not be happier. They work on overall development of the kid including Robotics, Math, English, Spanish, Public Speaking and so on.
Fun place to be. My kids went to summer camp, they just loved it. I like there after school program also. Teachers are very care and dedicated.
My both sons attended STEM4Kids this summer. I am very happy with the progress of my elder son where STEM4Kids has created a foundation / interest in Java programming. My son also attended Python summer classes last year.
My younger son attended SCRATCH programming this summer and he loved it. Overall STEM4Kids was very helpful and provides a good platform for kids to create a foundation and interest in STEM.

The teachers and children here are very nice, my daughter likes it very much.

My daughter really enjoyed the Python summer camp.
I was disappointed that all the various camps offered were happening in the same room. kids were partnered and given projects to do, but parents were never able to see what the projects were, or get any updates on what skills, programs, etc. they were using. My kids found it boring, and wouldn't choose to do it again.
Its an ok camp. Pros: owner is very nice and receptive. Kids enjoyed working on an entrepreneur project. Cons: Not an overly fun cls. Located in business park so really nothing for kids to do during break or lunch. Also for a STEM cls they just pass out worksheets without teacher instruction & worksheets aren't graded or reviewed so kids don't even know if they're doing them right.

Hi Peter, Thanks for reviewing about us, Its was fun working with girls. Good to hear that girls enjoyed Entrepreneur program. They really worked hard on that. With the girls, in the morning we worked on Math and English as per there grade. In the Math and English program, Kids get worksheet and we supervise them and help them with the problem where they need help, and we works on Creative Writing also. In the afternoon, we worked on invention they make wiggling robot (which can draw pretty amazing), we worked on Advance robotics with them, please ask them about the robotics mission they did and as you mention we did entrepreneurship project about "how money moves" and they really tried hard with some failure which i believe was great experiences for them. Also as you mention, our Cupertino is around business offices. but we are fortunate to use, Apple Basketball hoop, believe me, your girls was always there in the break and we was very happy with the basketball skill of girls, specially your elder daughter. with that we are emailing you all the images we have, to make you aware of what all we did, I hope that will help. We don't have any course content, not sure what kids learned as their is no log. Any kind of print out or book notes are not provided for the kids. Seems like thier is no standard or structured way of teaching. If they can provide what they teach or taught everyday that would provide us some kind of satisfaction for the amount and time spent on this summer camp.
