Join us tonight to watch the movie Song of the Sea. Saoirse, a little girl who can turn into a seal, goes on an adventure with her brother to save the spirit world and other magical beings like her. Before watching the movie we will learn how to make plastic sea creatures from melted plastic pony beads.
Little Tree is my daughter's happy place. Heck, it's my happy place too. The place is just flooded with great creative energy and the environment is super cute and somehow peaceful even with all the activity. The teachers, Trisha and Nicole, are really hands on, encouraging and intuitive with the kids. We started with the Pre-K Sundays, which my younger daughter still attends, and now my older daughter is doing some of the "big kid" classes. The actual projects are very nice quality, not just a bunch of junk (though I literally had to buy a shelf for the kids room to house it all). Overall, a great place that I actually look forward to shlepping my kids to.
I love this place. Not only are they super welcoming to parents and children, they are able to engage the children in a way that even when they go home, they are anxious to try new art projects. Nicole is extremely nice and my kids took an instant liking to them. We will definitely be back!
My daughter just completed a week long Robot Marionette camp here and we were blown away by the whole experience. Little Tree is super creative and cozy, with lots of attention to details and a great student-teacher ratio. My kid was completely enthralled the whole time and came home inspired to do her own projects. The owner clearly spends a lot of time developing the concepts and execution for these programs and it really shows.
