It started when Broadway actors Anne Letscher (Fiddler on the Roof) and Rena Strober (Les Miserables) moved from NYC to Los Angeles for their careers and then happened to have babies a week apart! Despite their lives changing dramatically (no pun intended), they didn’t want to stop…SINGING and DANCING! As new parents, they also wanted to be great role models and teachers for their daughters and other wonderful children.
A Star is Born brings Broadway music to young ears along with wonderful and educational games/lessons. Through music Anne and Rena teach rhythm, dance, colors, singing and so much more. They use instruments, bubbles, scarves, parachutes, rhythm sticks, shakers and the occasional costume piece to create a magical world for young Broadway stars. Not only do they focus on giving children a class that will teach, entertain and inspire, but as mothers, they know it’s important to keep other parents entertained and involved. They choose music that is enjoyed by all ages.
