My kid enjoyed the hiking and field trip a lot for the two weeks of offering.
Pros: My son loved making projects. The time given to work on the project each day (2 hours adn 30 minutes) helped him improve and learn.
Improvement: Better ways of communication. This was my son's first time in this camp. On the last day of the week, there was a pizza treat and he was the only kid who did not get the pizza. The reason being that the parent had not signed for the pizza. I was never informed during the week about this until my son came in the evening upset about not getting pizza.

I am sad to hear about the Pizza issue. We communicate the Friday pizza lunch that families can sign up for in many ways.
An email is sent out to all families before the camp starts that has all the details on what to expect during the week including Pizza Friday with instructions on how to sign up.
We have a Pizza sign up sheet right next to the Attendance sign-in sheet so parents don't miss it. This is placed there on Monday and stays until Friday.
We also do multiple assemblies with children to go over what is happening during the week and pizza Friday is also announced at that time.
We order pizzas according to the number of sign-ups we get. It's unfortunate you missed the multiple reminders.
However, I saw your son feeling sad that he was not signed up, and I personally offered him pizza that he did have. I didn't want him to feel the way he was feeling. You can fact-check that with him.

My kid had a great time at Achievers this winter and she will definitely be coming back in the next holidays.
Achievers is the best camp my daughter attended so far . She is always excited for the next day . During the KidChen camp she came home with so many yummy deserts like tarts , cookies , cheese cake , etc. I must also mention that the all teachers and staff members are very responsible and friendly . I must mention when Miss Neeru called me promptly when she noticed my daughter wasn’t feeling well and we could get her to the doctors in timely manner. Really big big thanks to the entire team of teachers and staff members! You guys made summer fun for kids and care free for parents !! Cheers!!

We have been coming to achievers for two years. We tried most of their summer camp program. Great program and staffs! My kids love it!
Horrible camp. I would email with questions- no response. My daughter would get hurt, nobody would communicate with me how or why it happened. The projects were bad: Coloring ceramic tiles with crayons is not pottery. Crafting with air-dry clay is not really traditional pottery where you learn how to knead the air bubbles out of the clay, learned how to use tools to sculpt and shape it, dry it and fire it up in a kiln. I should’ve just taken my kid to Color Me Mine for a week - would’ve been cheaper and would’ve experienced better customer service.

Since communication to our camp site is routed through an activity hero portal, we only see the email when it is forwarded to us. Before we received your email, we had already communicated. We take pleasure in what we teach and adhere to all of the website's specifications. There is no mention whatsoever of potter's wheels or kilns throughout the camp. I will upload some photographs of children using various sculpting instruments if activity hero allows it. Additionally, there was no use of air-drying clay. Epoxy is used to construct the design. The appearance was achieved with foil, tools, clay, paint, and oxidized powder. Your daughter has liked the procedure as much as the other children.
I can appreciate that parents have their own perceptions, which sometimes fall short of expectations. In the future, we will be more thorough in our descriptions because we take all comments and criticism extremely seriously.

Achievers summer camps are wonderful, and the entire staff is friendly and well trained. The activities are fun and educational. The instructors are interactive with kids, and makes learning fun! My son absolutely loves this school she has been a part of the cooking camp and he has started to teach me how to cook. :)
In the two weeks that Giuliana has been at camp, our entire family has seen a difference in her happiness and demeanour. This great transformation is undoubtedly due to the structure and activity, as well as the nice professors, students, and staff.

The reading curriculum is fantastic! Camp is a lot of fun, and kids learn just as much during the summer as they do during the school year while having a blast! I would strongly suggest this school to anyone.
Many thanks for everything. Jennes and Linda sobbed as they said their goodbyes to their pals. They didn't stop talking about their adventures until they fell asleep. They've had a great experience, and I want to congratulate you on your excellent staff.

My son goes to Achievers for after school and he loves it and looks forward to iit every single day. Teachers are amazing and very caring. Their weekly theme makes learning so much fun. I am super happy.
I helped run this camp in 2021 and was impressed with the way it was run and how much the kids learned about sculpting and pottery. All Covid protocols were followed as prescribed by county rules but that did not in any way reduce the amount of fun kids had during the camp. The counselors were cheerful which transfers to the kids. If you could see end result of the camp you'll be amazed at how professional it looked. I will recommend all parents to send their kids to Achievers, they will not want to leave at the end and the owners Ms. Neeru and Ms. Divya are big reason for that. They get involved themselves at every step to make sure kids are well taken care of.

Highly recommended!!! My kids did summer camp with Achievers last year and it was the best camp they ever had! Teachers and staff were so friendly, nice, and they understand kids and their needs so well. Their summer camp was such a unique combo of learning and fun experience for my kids. This is the third year our son has been going to Achievers Summer camp. I like how Achievers ran hybrid camps during pandemic . The facility is sparking clean with very loving and artistic teachers. whenever we go to lake Elizabeth my son always points out the area he came during summer camps. He loves everything about it, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Achievers has been great for my daughter for a long time now. They were immensely helpful in supporting her during the tough pandemic days by offering a combo virtual and in-person program. Our daughter loves their summer programs as they offer a unique theme every week. She is a big fan of the Stich Craft camp and will be returning to it in Summer 2022. On top of that, all teachers are very kind and helpful, especially Ms. Neeru.

A long overdue review. My son (then 7) attended Achievers' Summer Steam, Thanksgiving Fun Camp, and have been at their after-school program. We started off with their summer program and my son loved it. I was a bit apprehensive for a summer program without a full outdoor area to play (my son is active). My 6 years old daughter attended 2 weeks of summer camp at Achievers and overall it was a good experience for her. She was only there half day and missed her regular friends from school so it was an emotional adjustment for her, but the staff and teachers were very nice and made the transition easier for her. My daughter did not cry at all despite being sensitive and typically would have a hard time with adjusting to change.
Achievers always welcome my daughter as one of theirs..she feels so warm and welcomed . Management and staff are incredible people at heart. In this pandemic this is more than I can ask for.

Achievers does a great job with engaging the students (all ages). My kids come home every day and share something new they learned! They also love friday activities and pizza :) The only suggestion I have for the program is to have some fun activities or games when they go to lake Elizabeth.

It was fine but not as he was expecting it to be. As he just followed what he said can be found in YouTube.
My son loved clay fingers class and every day was so excited to get back to class. Highly recommend it to anyone.
My son just started attending summer camp this week and is loving it so far. The teachers seem warm and caring and he comes home with fun and creative crafts (so far for gardening week he made a fairy garden in a teacup, brought home tomato seeds to plant, and made a self portrait out of nature). Can’t wait to see what the rest of summer will bring!
I did not think of this being a general camp which it was especially for half day students.
The director of our unit did us a favor by accommodating my kid to second half on Wednesday, which was appreciated.
I had no curriculum. It was on the go with one day as picnic. I had no idea about it.
However, it was not as per my expectations, but the camp director did adjust that time with later half of the day. I know they don’t do it for anyone. That was the best thing they did. That’s why giving them 3 stars. However, they Didn’t do those activities that were mentioned in the Steam camp. Only one race car was built.

Professional and friendly staff at drop off and pick up. My child had a wonderful time and looked forward to each day of camp. I loved to hear about everything she did and learned about plants in the afternoons. I highly recommend this camp.
My son didn't enjoy this camp.He came home without having lunch saying all kids were sitting next to each other and he didn't want to eat food removing mask.Looks like no one cared about it.He came home evening 5.30 and had lunch.I will not be enrolling again.The description of what they do in the camp doesn't match with what they actually did.The gardening was not done as the camp mentioned.I have also registered for the pottery camp and I really regret registering for it.I am pretty sure they are going to while away time by just giving snacks every 30 minutes just like they did today.Do not waste your money on this.

At Achievers, we deeply care about experiences for all children and their families. We understand that attending an in-person camp with other children after a long isolation can be a challenge.
It is so saddening to see this kind of review even though we accommodated your request at the very last minute to have your child attend our camp only for ONE day. where Every other parent left us a note that their child is loving the camp and our way of managing it This whole week, kids worked from gardening to growing and we have met every expectation described for this camp. A week’s time doesn’t allow kids to see things grow in any significant way so we focus on day to day activities for them to learn the process from sowing to harvesting. Don't pass a judgment after sending your kid only for one day.
This was a week long camp and children learn while performing following activities.
* Seed Germination and making tomato seed strips to take home to plant.
* Learnt about different succulents and made a succulent fairy garden.
* Kids went to park in the morning to collect leaves & sticks to create nature portraits; kids painted their own pots to grow seeds
* Learnt about pollination and flower dissection . Finish their nature portraits and learnt how to grow crystals.
* Planting seeds in a painted pot and learning how to make compost.
Our staff makes sure that kids sit with enough spacing when eating food. We only serve 2 snacks in a day and not every 30 mins as you noted. We don’t force children to finish the lunch they brought from home. We are running at less than 50% capacity to ensure reasonable social distancing.

I’ll surely recommend Achievers to all my friends!! My child enjoys learning at the Achievers. Staff is really helpful and I believe my child is receiving everything he needs. My experience has been great.
My daughter always had great time attending summer camp at achievers. Teachers ensure to provide best guidance for kids to learn and follow through.

Kids loved cooking camp! They came home and cooked some of the recipes for us and they turned out to be great! Kids can't wait to go back next year! They are hoping for even more cooking time next year!
I highly recommend this Camp at Achievers!! My daughter attended cooking camp at Achievers with Chef Meenu and had a wonderful time. My daughter found Chef Meenu to be very patient and kind and gets the kids very excited about lots of different foods. She came home trying all sorts of dishes that I have never thought to try at home. They made things like Chinese potstickers, spaghetti ala carbonara, french baguette pizza and much more. On the last day they made five kinds of desserts from all over the world. My daughter would not stop talking about her class and even started to give me tips and help in the kitchen. It was a great experience, the chef had good knowledge and started a love of cooking for my daughter! Ms. Neeru and Ms. Divya are great on keeping the kids engaged all day . We will definitely be back.
They were very nice and professional. My daughter had a lovely time and I loved that they had an actual performance at the end of the week. I could tell they worked hard with the children to learn the performance in time and in 4 days only.

My son has been going to Achievers after school program and multiple summer camps. Few things that stand out in Achievers are the teachers and the positive atmosphere in the facility. You get a sense of a warm and caring environment as soon as you enter the facility.
Build your Website was one of the summer camps my 10 year old attended - he enjoyed putting up a live site after writing out the content. The program included other activities as well so kids were not in front of the computer all 8 hours per day. This was important for me as a parent.
My son is rearing to go for another camp with Achiever's this year as well.
Overall a great experience - I highly recommend it!

While the kids (9 & 12 yrs old) enjoyed the camp in Fremont, the cooking portion of Hungary Kitchen was a bust. Monday the kids got to watch a teacher make pancakes from a mix (just add water type). No hands on, no doing, just watching. Tuesday they got to make sandwiches, including exciting things like cutting cucumbers with a butter knife. Thursday they made pasta dough, and then threw it away without rolling it out or cooking it. Really really disappointed with the cooking portion of the program-it was nowhere near what was described when I signed the kids up.

To be honest, our first conviction for Hungary KiDchen and many other hands-on camps is to pick things where we can involve everyone. This is why we keep our recipes simple to understand and execute on as well as something they can try at home with a little supervision from parents. We also need to optimize it for time to contain the overall cooking activity within our allotted time. Such constraints results in the experience you are describing such as throwing away the pasta dough. There were a lot of other cooking activities where kids were highly involved such as making pasta sauce from scratch. We sincerely hope that all kids had a great time cooking with us as well as enjoying our other activities throughout the day. Keep the feedback coming as it gives us chance to make things better in future.

I would like to strong recommend parents who are trying to find great activity for kids. President is so nice and she is very details with your kids and know how parents concern.
My daughter loved the camp and had lot of fun. She is definitely going back again. The staff is wonderful and the facility is clean.
My kids (6 & 11) had a blast at the Hungry Kitchen Achiever’s camp. They learned to make many things kids love to eat, including ice-cream! Additionally, they had fun trips to the library and enjoyed an action-packed carnival in the park.
The facility is super clean, bright and colorful. The educators came up with very creative cooking ideas and activities suitable for a wide age range. They are all amazingly talented, artistic, fun, careful, loving and patient.

Misleading information on your website about duration and activities for the camp. We signed up our 14 yr old son for Raspberry and Python programming. But that turned out to be 3 hours each day only instead of till 3pm, and the rest of the time he was clubbed together with other small kids from other camps/general camp. Further, one of the five days there was no Raspberry/Python class at all as you decided to have a picnic on Lake Elizabeth for everyone. I am not against picnics, but that's not what we signed up for and there was no indication on the description in your program that the entire day will be lost to that. I am available and happy to discuss.

Thanks for your honest feedback and we are bummed that our camp did not match up your expectations. All of our specialty camps, including the Python camp, were designed to run for 3 hours every day of the week. Our picnic was a pre-planned activity aimed to keep all of our young campers engaged and happy. We believe that we covered the course material as advertised and offered other age appropriate activities including Robotics during afternoons.
Needless to say that we take all feedback seriously and are ready to offer a makeup. We will call you soon about it.
