About
Aim High

Aim High is a five-week summer enrichment program for current 5th - 8th grade students from low-income communities across the greater Bay Area. Offered at no cost to students and their families for up to four summers, Aim High helps middle school students build academic confidence, discover a love of learning, and develop the skills they need to thrive in high school and in life.

We are committed to providing a high-quality learning program each summer. Every day during the program, Aim High will provide up to 7 hours of academics, outdoor activities and exciting field trips. We keep our teacher-to-student ratios low to foster relationship building and ensure every student receives the support they need.

All students will:

  1. Participate in academic classes: STEM challenges, Book Club, Future Success and our signature class, Issues & Choices, where staff will engage students in activities that will center students’ voices and focus on health and wellness.
  2. Be in small group learning environments supported by a two-person team teaching model providing students with the attention they need to feel seen and heard.
  3. Get active, use wellness tools, learn in non-academic settings and participate in activities such as dance, sports, art, crafting, coding, and much more.
