The worst place my daughter and I have ever been!!!!
The pianist came without preparing at all for a session with my daughter. I gave them a week notice, and they agreed with it. Because of the pianist, the rehearsal could not be continued. Then the owner blamed my 12-year-old daughter straight to her face, who prepared very well. "She missed rhythm, that's why the pianist could not do well". What type of teacher blames a kid when the fault is professional's. Extremely wrong and discouraging way to teach a kid(s).
The both owner and the pianist were making excuses entire time, saying that the pianist was doing the sight reading...... if she can do good by sight reading, it's totally fine. But she cannot, she should be prepared the piece better before the rehearsal since they are getting paid$$
The pianist wasn't ready, the owner blamed my daughter, the rehearsal was unable to be continued..... but the owner never apologized and insisted me to pay.
Extremely unprofessional and the piano wasn't even tuned!!
Giving them one star is too generous.

Mrs. Dillon, Thank you for your valuable feedback. Allegro Music Academy takes great pride in being as transparent and professional as possible in interactions with our students and parents. We would like to take this time to apologize for your experience at the Academy, and assure you that this experience is highly unusual.
In regards to the preparedness of our pianist, we accept full responsibility on behalf of our independent instructors. However, it is especially difficult to prepare a pianist when there has not been music sent to them, despite our requests to do so. Your daughter is an extremely talented violinist, and we can assure you that any constructive criticism offered was not intended to upset or discourage in any capacity. We have taken your thoughts into consideration, and will be withholding any such feedback in future interactions with students.
Additionally, we are more than happy to offer you a refund for your unfortunate experience. Please contact us if you are interested. Again, we apologize for your negative experience and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Best,
Camden McLean
