Overview
Your child's first dance class is an experience like no other. We know that and take extra care to put you and your child at ease and nurture a love of dance from the moment your child enters the dance studio or joins us virtually.
Jazz is and upbeat, fast paced style of dance that has evolved from a melting pot of styles and choreographers over the years. Style, strength, and technique are stressed.
*Note- Allegro teachers will use their expertise to place each dancer in the correct level that is best for their training, this will usually happen within the first month.

Please know that if you are signing up for the online class, you are not actually getting an online class - you are getting a video camera set up at the back of a classroom that barely captures any instructional information or the music they are dancing too. The video kept freezing and often they would move off camera when practicing individually. We tried to ask for help in the chat but no one is there. There is no attention or feedback at all paid to the online students. My daughter had a horrible experience and we will be canceling further classes. Save yourself the money and find a youtube video if you are online.

I'm in my 11th year of dancing at Allegro. It's a warm and welcoming environment for new and experienced dancer, whether you're six or sixty.
In addition to learning dance from caring, diverse, and talented instructors, you'll learn about the history of the dance, its influence and relevance to society, the music, the artists, and, for those interested, how to pursue a career in dance. And often a life lesson or two along the way.
Throughout COVID, dance classes have been available online, and continue in a hybrid format as restrictions ease.
Whatever your skill or age level, you'll find something to love here.
