About
Art Steps

At Art Steps, we teach realistic, classical drawing and painting skills to kids ages 4 and up, teens and adults. Our curriculum teaches students the fundamentals of art including line, shape, tone, and color. Students generally start with basic drawing skills using dry materials such as crayons, colored pencils, markers, pastels, and watercolor crayons.

After about 6 months or so, depending on the individual, they go into watercolor, then acrylic, and eventually into realism. Students must be at least 12 years old and have been in the program for at least a year to begin oil painting.
