Overview

Can't get enough Roblox? Turn your student's gaming into something educational and start the journey into the world of game design!

Led by Build Master Matt, students will be introduced to basic game design tools and concepts in Roblox Studio. Students will have the chance to play individually and as a group, friend each other, and share their creativity.

This 3-day beginners course will introduce:

- 4 Basic Tools (select, move, scale, rotate)

- Explorer and Properties Panel

- Anchor, Collisions, Group, Lock, & Snap to Grid

- Solid Modeling (Negate Tool and Union Tool)

My 9 YO daughter has completed 2 of the 3 lessons included in this class. I've been sitting within earshot, and the instructor seems very good. We tried a different Roblox class (from a different provider) last summer, which bombed with my daughter, but this time she is fully engaged and having so much fun that she wanted me to sign her up for the next level.

Yes, if you have access to a second device for Zoom, it is very helpful! With a second device, your student can always see the instructor without having to close and open the different windows. -
