AYSO Soccer Camps & Training

My son really enjoyed the camp and didn’t mind the sun or the 6 hours of being on the field. This was his first try at soccer.

My 2 boys ages 9 and 11 really enjoyed the camp. They said that the drills they did were good and that the pace of the activities / games was very good as well.

My daughter had a great time, even if she didn't assist all five days, she got to enjoy the camp, and games (specially the World Cup one)

My son thoroughly enjoyed the program and especially he was very happy to be trained under coach Jack!

My son isaak had a great experience! He definitely gained alot of self-confidence and a postive attitude. Excited to wake up and go to camp each day. I thank you so much! Such good medicine for him.

We highly recommend Ayso soccer camp. My sons says He learned a lot and it was a great soccer team. He also loved his coaches. Coach Nathan and coach james were very knowledgeable and patient with the team specially the little ones.

We loved the coaches and the games! Our child has been teaching us soccer games, too, so we will absolutely go back again. I was a little surprised that we didn't receive a follow-up email with location and additional instructions. I realized in the 11th hour that the camp was not at the usual AYSO fields, but up the road at OK Farms. When we arrived, all 3 coaches were busy, so I took my kid to the first coach available. He went straight to her, but didn't check in to make sure I was okay with the plan for the day. I had no idea that we had to check in, whether I could leave her (yes), and how they would check to make sure myself or someone approved on the application (like my husband) was the one to pick her up. My husband did have to come the 2nd day and she was released to him without question. This is a huge safety concern, especially if someone we knew who we *didn't* want to drive her came to pick her up, like grandma. By the time my child was settling in with her coach, the 3rd coach had left and the presenting pair gave their welcome speeches. There was no one for me to ask about procedure until snacktime, 1.5 hours later. She did great at camp (better when we were not around) and we're going to sign up again, but I would really like to see better check in and safety policies.

Excellent set up, incredibly well run. Staff were engaging and knowledgeable. Only downside was that they didn’t administer my child’s suntan lotion regularly and also could have had some sun shades in place. But worth every penny and will definitely use again.

My girls loved the soccer camp in Hilo. The coaches were wonderful. Both coaches were so nice, very caring, super fun young men. Looking forward to the next camp. Our family got at the chance to host these two coaches and it made the experience that much better.

My daughter really enjoyed the full day camp. Her coaches where knowledgeable and encouraging. Even though it was HOT my daughter looked forward attending each and everyday.

Great program, and great coaches! My son had a blast! The coaches did have trouble locating my son on the roaster until the third day!

Coaches were organised, knowledgeable, and friendly. Kids were happy and learned a lot. Definitely a great experience.

Very organized camp. My son loved it. It allowed him to fall in love with the game and get him interested to work hard at it. He loved the fun atmosphere and coaches.

Russell had a great experience. I was absolutely impressed with his teachers!! They were professional and as far as I could see all the students really liked and respected them. Everyone was having fun.

My son was really hot but he was happy. By the way, running in the sun for six hours without a shade is still too hard for young children. Is there no room for improvement?

If there was a way to give zero star I would. My daughter was so excited to have her first soccer experience. We showed up 5 minutes early and waited for 25 mins --no one from AYSO showed up. There were four other families waiting as well. As time went on, we all searched our emails and only one family received a cancellation notice. If you're going to cancel, you have to give families a heads up to plan ahead. Super unprofessional and rude. Never again will I register for this camp.

The group running the camp canceled that session. Enrolling through activity hero, we were failed to be notified of the soccer camp cancellation, even though we enrolled for the camp through the website. We only found out when we arrived to find no one at the school. An email follow up to the group running the camp revealed that they had canceled it, apparently did not trickle down to ActivityHero.

I would highly recommend this camp for kids who enjoy soccer. My boys participated in the 1/2-day camps in Hillsborough and San Mateo. They had a blast at both sessions! The coaches provided a great environment in which to learn and practice soccer skills and have fun. They even designed a friendly World Cup competition that played off of the World Cup excitement this summer. My boys have already asked to do it again next summer, a true seal of approval!

My 15 yo son really enjoyed this "based on skill level" camp. He's played soccer since he was 3 yo and often finds summer camps not challenging enough for his level. We will sign up again next summer. Very friendly, engaging coaches!

We love this camp. The coach is very humorous and created a great atmosphere for the kids to fall in love after playing once. Thank you for showing how fun soccer is to my 6 year old son.

Lukas thoroughly enjoyed the camp this year. He had fun and he learned lots of new skills all due to the way Coach Ryan teachers. Coach Ryan teaches the way kids learn best he introduced a skill, then he turned it into a game, so while the kids are learning they were playing and having fun! Lukas couldn’t wait to get up every morning and go to camp. Lukas learned so much but more importantly he showed confidence. He made friends and really felt like a part of a team. Social skills are just as important as physical skills at this young age and Coach Ryan taught social skills as well. As a retired first grade teacher, I was very impressed with Ryan’s teaching style. As Lukas’ Grandma, I was very impressed with the growth that my grandson demonstrated in just a short time. If I had one complaint, it would be that the team jerseys were 99% the same as last years. That being said, Lukas will be back next year! We hope he leaves next years camp with new skills, with more social skills, and a different color jersey. Very pleased & Impressed, Lukas’ Grandma

AYSO Soccer Camps is excellent. My two children had a lot fun and they learned new skills.

The camp was outstanding and my son really enjoyed it. The counselors work incredibly hard and all had great attitudes and made the camp fun for the campers! Thank you!

The kids that run the camp are great with kids! My daughter had fun and was engaged in activities.

My issue was that I signed up for the camp in Chino to start Monday, July 18th at 8am. Arrived to an empty park. After several frantic phone calls I was made aware that camp had been cancelled. I was not notified of this. Fortunately they helped me find a nearby camp that also started that day.

My son had a great time while improving his soccer skills. Great coaches and environment.
