Boarding On The Lake we provide many activities related to horseback riding. Including horse boarding, guided trail rides, half and full horse leases, lessons in English and Western riding , summer horse camps for the kids and so much more. Bring your children and teach them what it takes to care for their loved animals. Boarding on the Lake is a family owned horse boarding facility that opens up onto the Folsom Lake trails. We have stalls and pastures for geldings and mares, and also offer trail rides and lessons.

I moved here from the city when i was 9 with my family. They wanted to get away from the hustle and decided to buy a hundred head of cattle and a ranch property. With the ranch came a horse and even though the cattle business didn’t last, my first horse stayed with me for over 20 years.

My passion was reignited when I started this business over a decade ago. I loved the sense of wonder I saw in my friends and family when they came out with me on a beautiful, peaceful and sometimes spiritual trail ride along the lake.
