The BrainMatterZ program incorporates the science of neuroplasticity, performance, resiliency, and happiness and helps prepare students for a lifetime of success. Kids who complete the BrainMatterZ program develop stronger cognitive skills including auditory and visual processing speed, improved attention and focus, and improved memory.  Through a set of fun and challenging guided exercises, participants also improve their executive function skills including the ability to better plan and organize, maintain emotional control, and self-monitor behavior.

For both of my boys, focus has been a challenge. My younger son would drift off task after a few minutes unless I was sitting right there with him to keep him focused. I worried that I’d have to sit with him doing homework through middle school, high school, and college! My older son struggled with test anxiety. He is extremely smart, but his extreme perfectionism caused him to analyze and overthink every question to the point of paralysis. Sometimes he would not finish a test because he had to be absolutely certain he had gotten the right answer on every single question. When we found Dr. Linzey and BrainMatterZ, everything changed. My younger son’s teachers could not believe the difference they saw in him. It was like he grew up overnight! Dr. Linzey helped him crack the code for focus and self-confidence. He can now work on a task until it’s finished. For my older son, the results following Dr. Linzey’s program were equally impressive. She unlocked his talent and that filled him with the confidence to tackle any challenge. He is now able to transition much more easily and actually reach the end of his exams! I can’t thank Dr. Linzey enough. She is that rare individual who truly understands where kids are developmentally and begins her work from that point. My sons have gained their confidence back. How can you ever thank someone for that! Now, they have a lifelong friend and mentor in Dr. Linzey.

My son will graduate from a wonderful university with a degree in mechanical engineering in a couple weeks. For the many wonderful things he has achieved in school and in life, we owe a sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Tere Linzey and her BrainMatterZ programs. Our son was an outstanding high school student and athlete. During his senior year, he was kicked in the head during a basketball game. We were not aware how serious the injury was until he was diagnosed with a concussion the following day. He received all the appropriate medical treatment, but over time, he started developing problems with his cognitive skills, primarily related to visual processing speed. By his sophomore year in college, he was concerned enough about the issue to ask for help. First, we sought help from a chiropractor to help restore blood flow to his brain. Then, on a friend’s recommendation, I reached out to Dr. Linzey. Our son completed her twenty hour program and the impact on his processing speed was both immediate and profound. He returned to school with renewed enthusiasm, confidence, and capabilities. He was so impressed by what he got out of his initial program with Dr. Linzey that he went back a year or so later for another program, this time focused on executive functioning skills. Once again, we were thrilled with the skills Dr. Linzey helped him develop and refine. Needless to say, we are big fans of the BrainMatterZ programs!
