Goals: This continuation of our upper-division science track places an emphasis on the world of biology and medicine. Throughout this curriculum, we examine the wonders and complexities of life at every level of analysis, beginning from the very small (biochemistry and cell biology) through the visible (genetics and anatomy) to the grandest scale (ecology and the biosphere). Students will continue to master academic skills and conceptual understanding with greater maturity, and by establishing consistency with our other courses, we foster the confidence and enthusiasm that will allow their scientific achievement to continue to flourish.
