Some of the greatest recipes have come from mistakes in the kitchen and experimenting with flavors. We will do science experiments with ingredients and best of all we get to taste our creations! We will also bring out the Harry Potter in all of us and experiment to make some fun potions.
Camp Aristotle advertises special needs camp. After several weeks of unanswered e-mails and unreturned phone calls, we finally got a playdate with them. We brought our son with autism to a playdate and received and e-mail a few days later saying that the staff had "fallen in love" with our son and definitely wanted him to attend. They then asked us to come back for another playdate. We asked about this and the office staff said "this is just for placement." Following this, they did not communicate with us for over three weeks after the play date. When we called to request an invoice they told us, curtly, that they had decided to reject our son. This was less than ten days before the camp was to start. He was disappointed. We were disappointed. We had to scramble to make other summer plans and had to pay more since we had missed early enrollment deadlines. They were rude about it.
It's their right to reject our son. But rejecting people this close to the start date and not bothering to tell them until they call is the depths of lousy customer service. The program itself may well be good; we never tried it. The office staff, however, is surly and incompetent and that reflects very poorly on the program. Stay away.
