Camp LEO

Camp Leo is located in Enumclaw, WA and is dedicated to providing an overnight camping experience for children with Type 1 diabetes. At Camp Leo, diabetes is the norm rather than the exception, creating a safe and secure environment for children to have fun away from home. Campers can meet other children with diabetes, learn about their disease, and gain independence essential for living a healthy and happy life. Camp Leo is now run by a new organization, Type 1 United, which offers additional programming to help children with diabetes. Through this programming, campers can gain the skills and confidence needed to manage their diabetes and live a full and active life.
