About
Carlmont DECA
Business and Tech Camp is led by students from Carlmont High School's DECA chapter. DECA is an international organization of school clubs that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. In addition, DECA provides an opportunity for students to compete at regional, state, and international levels. In Carlmont DECA’s first two years, we have had 7 qualifiers for international competition. We are excited to present the Business and Tech Camp this year so that we can teach kids who want to know more about business and technology and may be interested in DECA when they go to high school!
Our Staff
The camp is led by Carlmont DECA members. They have all been trained to teach the students CAD, wireframing, spreadsheet skills, and how to create & pitch a startup business plan. In addition, our Carlmont DECA advisor, John Rowe, will also be at the camp.
