Chavarria Institute of the Arts
The Chavarria Institute of the Arts is so excited to share it's passion and knowledge with each and every student that walks through the door! Our amazing faculty will welcome you to the family with open arms. We will have classes for all levels in many different styles of dance, music, voice, acting, musical theater, modeling, etc.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive and dynamic approach to dance with an emphasis in consistency, creativity, and collaboration.
We believe that all dancers must have a strong foundation of proper technique and will guarantee a consistency in highly skilled instruction that will nurture each dancer's expertise and proficiency while focusing on dancer safety.
We will promote a creative atmosphere that inspires originality and artistic expression, while encouraging dancers to choose and achieve their individual goals in a collaborative and dynamic group setting. We are dedicated to providing an environment that will both develop and encourage the beginning dancer, as well as advance and challenge the experienced dancer.
Our Staff
Mr. Mark Chavarria / Owner
of The Chavarria Institute of the Arts. He has directed and choreographed many musicals including "Grease", "Cinderella", "Peter Pan", "Annie", "The Sound of Music", "Aladdin" and many others. He has danced with artists such as N'Sync, Pink, Youngstown, Sugar Ray and performed on Nickelodeon. He was nominated for and won the best original score for his work on the short film “Forever Beautiful”. He has performed in multiple musicals and theatrical productions nationwide and was most recently seen performing as Aladdin in Disney’s “Aladdin A Musical Spectacular” in the Hyperion Theater in California Adventure.
