Want to turn your child's love of video games into an educational experience? No, it's not a trick question, it's CREATECH. Founded by Marin parents and educators, Createch is offered to children aged 8 to 14 to foster stronger critical thinking skills by using creative technologies to support and educate their growing minds. The summer sessions are designed to teach children to program their own video games (and draw their own characters!); to design, develop, create & animate their own stop motion movie; to explore the world of art & design by creating their own virtual products, packaging & marketing; and to be a music producer by creating their own tracks, album art, & more. And don't worry, there is plenty of outdoor fun time worked into each day. By each week's end, your child will have produced a DVD of their project, and you will be amazed at their results! We run small camps staffed by adults and each camp has no more than 20 campers in it. Every camper creates an individualized project based on their own ideas. This type of individualized program is what differentiates Createch from other technology camps. Half Day Sessions Available for $250. Choose from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. After Care available for $10 per hour in the San Anselmo Location Only.
