Benicia Ballet

Benicia Ballet School was founded in 1986 and focuses on classical ballet training for beginning to pre-professional dancers as well as very young students to adults. Through the development of many accomplished dancers, BBS has built a fine reputation throughout the North Bay. 

While the emphasis is on ballet, additional classes in free movement and character dance are offered following the eight levels of the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. Additional classes in Flamenco, pas de deux and other dance styles are offered in BBS Summer Dance Camp

SUMMER DANCE! Classes in dance technique, music theory, art history, stage management, costume design, and health education Exploration, exercise, and excitement oh my!... Embark on a magical journey of movement, fun, excitement, and dance with Benicia Ballet Theatre’s Summer Programs. BBT offers a summer program for young children and an advanced summer intensive for our teens to adult dancers, concluding with a summer collaboration production with Live Music accompaniment.
