Overview

BE THE HERO IN YOUR OWN STORY WITH FRIENDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!

Everyone fits in the world of Dungeons and Dragons and has a chance to be the hero of their own story. As part of your registration, players' original character will be drawn by DEMIGOD character artists (Luka, Jazz & Kelsey) which many will use as their profile picture.

During the course of play, each player directs the actions of their character and their interactions with other characters in the game. This activity is performed through the verbal impersonation of the characters by the players, while employing a variety of social and other useful cognitive skills, such as logic, basic mathematics and imagination. This type of interaction is highly beneficial for children. Parents should think of it not as screen time but as virtual table top. Kids will use their creativity, imagination, teamwork, communication skills, basic writing and math as well as role play to navigate the myriad different settings, NPC's (non-player characters), solve puzzles and defeat villains.

I had the most amazing experience going to this camp. Not only did I learn so much from so many different people but I was also able to make great friends and work closely with others!

Thank you for your kind words, Jeremy! You brought so much to the camp experience with your leadership, good humor and thoughtful participation academically! We are pleased to know that you will be going to England this coming summer and know you will return to camp in a leadership role!

My son attending Camp Half Blood a couple of summers ago, and it was the one camp he's attended that he really liked and wanted to go back to. The activities are creative and open-ended, and the campers enjoy some freedom and some structure: going on quests, playing board games, playing soccer or another sport some afternoons, doing creative writing, learning some martial arts, trying new art media, and being encouraged to make and play and imagine in all ways.

My son Colby adores Digivations, and I do, too! Steve and Anne Berman are brilliant, heart led scholar/teacher/mentors who know how to engage and challenge children to grow and learn and take responsibility for creating a better, stronger, kinder world. It’s nothing sort of life changing.
