SCIENCE OF BEES (All Girl Scouts) – Online Workshop

Sunday, May 5 - 12:30-1:30pm (eastern time) 

Girl Scouts learn about the importance of bees and other pollinators, investigate differences between solitary and colonial bees, and build a bee hotel for our pollinating insects. Registration includes an Save the Bees Fun Patch and shipping. Juniors complete requirements toward their Animal Habitats Badge (badge not included with registration).

Location: ONLINE. Log in to your ActivityHero account and click on “Join Meeting” in the My Registrations section to participate. Reminder email will be sent around 8pm (eastern time) the night before the workshop (check your spam folder).

No, for fun patch workshops, we mail the fun patch. Badges for badge workshops must be purchased through Girl Scouts. The Science of Beew is a fun patch workshop so it is being mailed to you. -

Hi Deborah, Thanks for your message. It depends on which program you are inquiring about. Our Young Explorers classes (3-5 year olds) require parent participation during class. Parents sometimes stay for the first week of homeschool classes, and during Girl Scout workshops as well. Parents do not stay for after-school programs, Parents' Night Out or our camps.
