Overview
In this 6-class series, students will be introduced to the engineering and design process to tackle a unique challenge each week. Kids will develop problem solving and collaboration skills, while building confidence in their creativity and analytical abilities. All while having fun and learning principles of physics! Example weekly challenges include:
- Design a device that can launch a ping pong ball
- Design a device that can grab something out of reach
- Design a building that can withstand an earthquake
All of these challenges will come with time and material constraints, and be framed in the context of real world problems needing solutions.
