My son, Adam, has attended camps, and also has participated in the assistant instructor training program at Encinitas Karate for the past three years. He absolutely loves them! Each camp is themed, and structured making every experience exciting and unique. In addition, the camps offer before and after programs, that provides flexibility for working parents.

Adam is a first degree black belt from their sister studio, AK Martial Arts & Fitness, and has been training to become a camp counselor through the Assistant Instructor Program (AI). Master Castle always fosters a positive mindset and providing a safe, welcoming space for everyone—whether they are campers, students, assistant instructors, or parents. Encinitas Karata's team of kind and dedicated people make their camps so fun and enjoyable, making everyone to want to come back!

My son enjoyed the various activities. He liked laser tag the most. We both thought Smash Bros. was a high-cost camp. If it included lunch food, such as pizza or pasta it would be a bit better value.

Hello ma'am Thank you for your review! We understand your frustration about meals but this is why we don't include it in our description. Due to various allergies it would be difficult to coordinate safe foods, as well as we are not a licensed Daycare by the stare of CA we cannot provide meals. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review.

Both our boys have been going to Encinitas Karate and attending their summer camps over the past 7 years. They love the variety of activities at each camp and have a lot of fun with all of the instructors. Our oldest is a black belt and our yougest is half way there. Both started when they were 5 years old. Master Castle and her staff teach kids about self defense while building their confidence.
She links martial arts lessons to life experiences and teaches kids how to be good, responsible people while having fun and making friends.
