Epsilon Camp is a residential camp serving exceptional young mathematicians and their families through an intensive student program and parent workshop. This program is for children who are highly gifted and passionate about math. Our mission is to connect profoundly gifted children with professional mathematics and build a supportive community with peers and families.
Our camp is about creating a community that lasts far beyond two weeks at a summer camp. Epsilon Camp leadership, faculty and staff are all dedicated to creating an environment where campers not only learn to think and work like mathematicians, but also where campers and their families build lasting friendships.
George R. Thomas, Executive Director is an independent mathematician with long experience teaching and mentoring in summer programs for students showing high promise in mathematics. He founded Canada/USA Mathcamp, MathPath and Epsilon Camp. Thomas’s research has ranged over Semigroups and Extremal Graph Theory with forays in Analytical Number Theory.
