Fairmont Preparatory Academy
Fairmont Private Schools was founded in 1953, by public school educator Kenneth Holt who began offering summer school instruction to a handful of students out of his home. His focus on academic fundamentals, phonics-based language arts instruction and character development attracted the attention of local parents and ultimately grew into a full-time school program at what is now the Historic Anaheim campus.

I am so excited to be joining the Fairmont family, and to be returning to my first love—summer camp! I grew up attending YMCA residential camps every summer, and spent my first 5 working years there. Since earning my BA from UCSD and my MA from Queen Mary, University of London, I have been fortunate to continue my work with youths through nonprofit arts organizations and local private school programs. In my spare time, I like to watch TV, meditate, and nap. When I’m not hanging around the house with my cat Daisy, I’m going on adventures with my husband, James. We love a good road trip! (especially if it involves great food). I can’t wait to start this new adventure at Fairmont summer camp! Summer camp changes lives, and this summer is going to be out of this world.
