The Lego Robotics Spike Prime Course is designed for students aged 9 and above who have some experience working with Legos and robotics but may not yet have had any exposure to programming. This hands-on, project-based course introduces students to coding using Scratch, a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allows them to create simple programs for their robots. Students learn how to build, program, and control autonomous robots while exploring STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) concepts, such as motors, sensors, gears, and basic engineering principles. In this course, students work individually or in pairs to design and build a variety of robots, including cars, drones, and animals.
As they progress through the course, they are introduced to new hardware components and software features, allowing them to create increasingly complex robots with advanced capabilities. By the end of the course, students should have a strong understanding of coding basics, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking abilities. The key outcomes of this course include developing a foundation in computer science and basic electrical circuitry. Additionally, participants improve communication skills by discussing ideas and explaining solutions, all while gaining experience collaborating on a team as they create projects together

For any single-day workshop, all camp, birthday party, or After-school, there are no refunds past the 24-hour cancellation period. Still, we are flexible in moving the dates and providing future credits as long as the event has not started.
If a student cannot attend the entire week and you notify us at least one week in advance, we offer the option to transfer to another week of your choice.
If a student is unable to attend the entire session of any activity due to illness(before the event starts), we will provide 100% credit towards future camps.
If your child is not enjoying the class they have signed up for and wants to switch to another class offered at the same location, you can discuss transferring to an available session within the same week. We will do our best to accommodate your request, provided there is space in the desired session but there won't be any refunds or credits processed if you have decided to discontinue.
For any reason, once the session starts, we can not process the refund, future credit, or transfer to a different week.
7.At Futurebytes, we strive to ensure every program runs smoothly and is a great experience for all. However, if a program doesn’t meet the minimum enrollment requirements, we may need to cancel it. In such cases, we’ll reach out to parents at least a week in advance to share alternative options. If none of the alternatives work for your family, we’ll gladly process a full refund.
My 9 yo child enjoyed this camp so much and the staff were very helpful. I've made contact when she faced some problem at the camp and the office immediately responded with great outcome by the next day. We also enjoyed watching demo videos they've created for each day/ project. Would love to come back again!
Camp was just ok. Per our child’s report, there was not enough guided instruction or activity to fill a full day camp. Lots of free work or play time that could be used productively or could turn into lots of time at a pool or fusball table .
Thank you so much, Angie Ng, for sharing your feedback with us! We truly appreciate your input. At our San Jose location, we maintained a 1:6 staff-to-student ratio to ensure personalized attention. However, we will certainly follow up with our instructors to ensure that the entire planned curriculum was delivered flawlessly.
