Girl In the Curl Surf Shop

Girl in the Curl Surf shop has been providing quality surfing instruction in California and Hawaii since 1987. Our surfing school is insured and all instructors are trained in CPR, First Aid, Water Safety and Fun. We specialize in youth classes and also teach clinics and private lessons for women, special occasions, and Birthday Parties. We provide patient professional instruction, excellent equipment and the best waves possible.  With private lessons, you will learn the basic elements of surfing and gain the confidence you need to pursue surfing on your own, on a one on one basis. Girl in the Curl's co-ed surf camps is designed for beginners and intermediate to advanced level surfers. Participants are worked with on an individual basis according to their own abilities and goals for the week. This camp will allow participants to tune up surfing abilities and learn proper wave judgment and surfing techniques from knowledgeable and patient instructors. There will be a strong emphasis on water safety and ocean awareness. Beginners start riding on modern soft surfboards in smaller surf learning the basic elements and building confidence while having fun.
