Happily Ever Laughter began when Fae, a children's entertainer, got frustrated. Frustrated with what?

With Disney Princesses.

Children thought they had to look like Cinderella in order to play 'princess', and entertainers were unknowingly reinforcing that message by being hired to portray them.

(Fae thinks Cinderella is a beautiful story, but 'waiting around for prince charming to come' wasn't the sort of fairytale she wanted to model.)

Turns out, it isn't a rockin' blonde wig that keeps children enchanted. It's being really, really good at playing with children.

So, Fae turned character entertainment upsidedown.

Starting in 2006, Fae focused on training her performers to be experts at bonding with children, as opposed to just mimicking movie characters.  That is the secret to how Happily Ever Laughter has grown to over 50 performers who've successfully enchanted half a million children at 18,000+ events.

No offense, Cinderella :-)

Hi, Nicole, My name is Sunny! Nice to meet you. *curtsies* So, good question! Our online parties can accommodate up to 6 screens in total (Your Performer's screen, your household's screen, + 4 additional screens.). We've tested this (a lot), and we've found that in order for it to be truly interactive, we can't have a larger group or we have to mute children, which defeats the purpose of them seeing their friends. One idea is to book multiple parties and space them out so they can look forward to something after homework. We would change up the show (add dancing, singing etc) to make it different each time, and give them a new Performer to meet. I know it's a bit more expensive to do it that way, but it is an option. I'd be happy to take $10 off any additional party you book. If that is something you'd be interested in, let me know and I can help you set that up. You're so sweet to do all this for your little one. Rock on, mama. Happy Sunday! -
