NOTE: The Friday session time is for 1:1 private tutoring and is flexible based on the student's availability.
The course is comprised of a series of increasingly complex, hands-on challenges requiring students to build a range of fully-functioning apps from scratch, including those that utilize augmented reality features, require camera integration, user interactions, voice manipulation, and data management. Students in this course will become proficient with Swift syntax, object oriented principles, memory storage, and programming functions.
Each student will complete various passion projects centered on individual areas of interest such as storyboarding, augmented reality, game development, social networking, artificial intelligence, and mobile banking.
The only downsize was that the computers he was working on kept crashing everyday! He lost a good portion on the animation he had created and had to keeping starting from scratch over and over again. I would have loved to see more of his work that he was so proud of. In computer programming we realize challenges like these are a reality in the workforce. I think he learned not to give up and him having to repeat those processes gave him a stronger knowledge advantage. Instructors A+, the computers D-.
