Imagine Academy for Autism

Our mission at Imagine Academy is to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities achieve their social, emotional, physical and academic potential. Supporting the families of these children on their journey of development is also part of our central mission. Imagine Academy is an established school for individuals ages 5-21.

Academic programming at Imagine Academy blends ABA and DIR/Floortime methodologies with adapted core curriculum and thematic units targeting literacy, science, math, and social studies.

Vocational Skill Training: At Imagine Academy, we prepare our students for independent living and life outside of school. As students get older, vocational skill training becomes an integral part of their school day. We engage our students in activities of daily living, community involvement, and various job opportunities.

Speech and language therapy programs at Imagine Academy are designed with a central goal: functional communication in all academic and social environments. Individual and group pull-out and push-in sessions are conducted to establish new skills and maximize generalization in the classroom and the community.
