PAYMENT OF TUITION FOR SAT/ACT CLASSES, BOOT CAMPS, MISCELLANEOUS CLASS SERVICES
FULL payment is REQUIRED upon enrollment in any Insight Education Group Classes. Only Full Payment guarantees a student’s spot in the class(es). This contract is null and void if full payment is not received prior to the first day of the course selected above. Insight Education cannot be held responsible if a class fills prior to receiving full payment. Returned checks are subject to a $20 handling fee. Declined credit cards are subject to a $20 handling fee.
Course material replacement is subject to a $50 fee.
CANCELLATION
If a client cancels their class enrollment seven (7) days or more before the start of the course, a 20% non-refundable fee will be charged. The remaining amount will be returned in the same form in which it was received (either check or credit card). This request must be made in writing to info@insight-education.net. We do not offer a refund for cancellations that take place less than seven (7) days prior to the start of a class, including after a class has started. Seven (7) days * 24 hours = 168 hours before the official start time of day 1 of the course in question.
TRANSFERS
If a client would like to transfer to a different section of the same course it will be treated in the same way as a Cancellation (see above) and re-enrollment.
GENERAL CLASS CONDITION
Insight Education will launch a multi-student class only if a minimum of FOUR (4) students have enrolled in the course. Clients will receive a full refund of class and enrollment fees if a course is canceled due to low enrollment.
GENERAL PAYMENT CONDITION
Insight Education will bill only one individual or family with respect to a student’s account. If parents are divorced or separated it is the responsibility of the family to assign one parent or legal guardian to be held legally accountable for all payments while settling the distribution of said costs separate from Insight Education, LLC, since these are private family matters. The parent or guardian who signs below will be the person held legally accountable for all payments, financial obligations, bill collections fees, attorneys’ fees, legal disputes associated with this contract.
LATE FEE
If payment is not received by an invoice’s due date a 5% fee (calculated as a % of the principal amount) will be assessed on a monthly basis until payment is received. If Insight Education, LLC, is forced to resort to Professional Bill Collections Services or Attorneys in order to collect, all associated fees will be charged to the legal guardian who signs below. Insight Education will also file reports with credit reporting agencies.
RIGHT TO REMOVE WITHOUT REFUND
Students and their families agree not to solicit Insight counselors, instructors or tutors for independent employment. Insight reserves the right to remove any student, without refund, found to be in violation of this agreement. Insight Education, LLC, also reserves the right to remove any student who is found to be disruptive in our offices or classrooms or found to be in violation of our confidentiality policies. Students found to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be dismissed immediately. No refund will be issued in any of the above cases.
MISSED MEETING POLICY
The student and/or parent hold(s) the ultimate responsibility for remembering to attend each scheduled Test Prep class session. Missed SAT/ACT Classes, SAT/ACT/SAT II Boot Camps or any other Miscellaneous Insight Education Group Class sessions cannot be made up since these are group sessions and are structured to operate in a group setting. Missed class sessions hold NO MONETARY VALUE. MISSED CLASS SESSIONS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE.
