Overview

AI Scholars Live Online is a 10-session (25 hours) pre-college Artificial Intelligence education program developed and taught by a team of graduate students from Stanford University. The program is delivered online through live video classes in small groups (student-teacher ratio of 5:1). Our students work with instructors to learn and apply AI concepts to a socially relevant AI project.

Student outcomes: 

AI project: Students work on a mentor-led group project in a domain of their choice such as healthcare, robotics, finance, or neuroscience.

AI careers and ventures: Students learn about the AI research of the instructors, discuss potential careers in AI

Pre-College Preparation: Students go through workshops on preparing for top-ranked CS/AI programs in the US.

Teaching Philosophy: The curriculum is design and taught by PhD and Masters students from Stanford University, focusing on applications of AI across healthcare, neuroscience, finance, and other domains. Instructors employ a design-school inspired approach to stimulate creative thinking in both the in-person and online setting. The student-teacher ratio for the live online program is 4:1.​
