Space Explorers will launch into an exciting space adventure in this fun and educational introductory Holographic AR programming camp. This camp is organized into grade-specific groups: Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
This camp is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).
No prior computer knowledge is needed.
Fun outdoor and indoor activities and plays are part of the camp experience.
Students will dive into the AR coding and program their own space missions. They'll embark on interstellar trips and explore planets.
As young astronauts, campers will create their own interactive stories, solve engaging engineering challenges, and uncover intriguing space facts. They'll program a spaceship trip, collaborate with friendly alien characters, and outsmart space villains in a quest to protect the solar system.
Students will learn to develop engaging Holographic AR experiences, focusing on coding for environments, transitions, and movements. They will also enhance their skills in crafting interactive stories that animate their virtual natural worlds. This one-week camp is a gateway for creativity, critical thinking, and foundational tech skills, empowering students to confidently create and shape the Holographic AR universe they build.
They will learn Holographic AR design, logic and coding. They’ll learn the Design Thinking Process based on the Stanford University Design School curriculum and design Holographic AR experiences that include coding for stages, transitions, movements, and multiple branches, engage in interactive storytelling, and hone their problem-solving techniques— all in a fun and supportive environment.
Grades K-2 and 3-5 will learn both AR design and Scratch coding.
Grades 6-8 and 9-12 will learn both AR design and Python coding.
Students will step into their own coded Space adventures to experience the magic using Holographic AR.
