Ivana Chubbuck Studio

Ivana Chubbuck is the founder and director of the IvanaChubbuck Studio and creator of the cutting edge and internationally regardedChubbuck Technique. Some of the actors Ivana has worked with during her careerinclude: Halle Berry, James Franco, Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt, JakeGyllenhaal, , Terence Howard, Jared Leto, Beyonce Knowles, Meg Ryan,  Chris Pine, Sylvestor Stallone, TravisFimmel, Ian Sommerhalder, Kate Bosworth, Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Common, Pinkand many others. In October of 2004 Penguin Books published Ivana’s book, ThePower of the Actor. The book became an instant success, spending weeks on theLos Angeles Times top ten Bestsellers List, It’s been translated into a numberof languages around the world and is being used as a textbook in colleges anduniversities around the world. In addition to creating the Chubbuck Techniquetaught worldwide, Ivana is an acting honorary adjunct professor at The JulliardSchool of Drama in New York. Ivana Chubbuck was honored by The RussianInternational Film Festival with a lifetime achievement award for hercontributions to the film industry alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, William Friedkin, and Francis Ford Coppola.

Claire Chubbuck is the head teacher and founder of Ivana Chubbuck Youth. She also teaches at the adult level for the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Claire has an extensive history with, and understanding of the Chubbuck technique as well as a background in production, which have equipped her with the knowledge and experience to create an unparalleled learning environment. A testament to the success of Claire’s youth program is the success her students enjoy in the entertainment industry, with the vast majority enjoying quick success in their professional pursuits.  In 2012, she graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Claire worked at AMC Networks as a Programming and Scheduling executive when the company first gained widespread notoriety for programs such as Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Killing, and The Walking Dead. She then was a television and motion picture executive at Participant Media, whose films include Good Night, and Good Luck, Syriana, An Inconvenient Truth, Food, Inc., Waiting for ‘Superman’, The Help, Contagion and Lincoln. Claire has also produced a wide range of content from festival winning feature documentaries to internationally broadcast short form content for ACLU. Oxfam, Stand Up 2 Cancer, SundanceTV, AMC Networks, and more. 

All employees of Ivana Chubbuck Studio and Ivana Chubbuck Youth are screened yearly and have met the background screening requirements.
