JEI Learning Center
Our mission is to support, facilitate, and help children by providing a high-quality supplementary education so that all children can achieve academic success - the key to a better life.
After school: Does your child struggle with his/her homework? JEI offers afterschool as a group (1:6) as well as private tutoring. We focus on building a strong foundation so that your child will begin to complete his/her homework assignments accurately and in a timely manner. We believe that by helping children understand their homework, they will become more engaged in learning at school.
JEI Math and English curriculum are designed for children ages 4 to 14. The program is individualized for each student allowing your child to learn at his/her maximum individual pace through our step-by-step learning course material. This self-paced learning fosters a boost in confidence and promotes learning independently, setting good habits in building a solid academic foundation.

Our Staff
Neil Rathan-Teacher
Neil Rathan is an eight-year veteran of the NYC school system. With a Bachelors's degree in journalism/creative writing and a Master's degree in childhood education from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education, Neil brings to JEI a proven track record of student achievement and success. Having taught fourth and fifth grades his entire career, Neil offers a vast knowledge of the curriculum accompanied by his passion for writing.
